HubSpot has finalised the purchase of Clearbit, a B2B “data activation” platform provider. This move is intended to strengthen HubSpot’s customer intelligence capabilities and provide its clients with industry-leading insights.
Clearbit connects CRM to over 100 demographic, firmographic, and technographic data points sourced from public and private sources. As a result, firms receive a more comprehensive perspective of their addressable market.
HubSpot claims that their AI-powered platform is based on real-time and unified data. According to the press release, HubSpot enables organisations to obtain a full picture of their consumers by combining first-party customer data with native marketing, sales, and service interaction capabilities. HubSpot will be able to integrate extensive third-party company data into its system with the acquisition of Clearbit.
400,000 users utilise Clearbit’s data collection, which includes 500 million decision-makers and 20 million organisations, to supplement the data in their CRM systems. Clearbit has been offered to HubSpot clients through the HubSpot App Marketplace since 2019. HubSpot is respecting its principles of responsible data sourcing, transparency, privacy, and security as part of the transaction.
With this acquisition, companies may precisely target, customise, and optimise their advertising and lead-generation activities in order to locate and attract more suitable prospects. It also helps sales teams engage, organise, and acquire more ideal customer profile (ICP) leads by allowing them to customise content and discussions.
