    Energy Services Provider Sunnova Use Salesforce to Make Renewable Energy More Accessible

    Sunnova is an Energy as a Service (EaaS) provider that assists families and businesses in achieving energy independence. Sunnova combines data from internal and third-party sources to speed up quote generation, automate business processes, and offer solar electricity to more households. Sunnova automates its operations by combining Salesforce automation and AI services with MuleSoft and Service Cloud.

    How does this partnership benefit Sunnova?

    Sunnova is making solar electricity more accessible and cheap to households across the United States by leveraging automation and artificial intelligence, all while growing its operations to build a more sustainable future.

    Sunnova is on an initiative to revolutionize the solar power landscape, with the objective of reaching the 96 million American houses that do not have solar power. Sunnova was able to accomplish the following using MuleSoft and Salesforce Flow.

    MuleSoft is instrumental in revolutionizing Sunnova’s processes by combining artificial intelligence and real-time dealer and customer data to build efficient, customer-centric solutions. It helps them to create a better customer experience. This includes the following:

    Generating Quotes Faster

    Sunnova was able to provide sales agents with homeowner data and location-specific information at their fingertips, as well as real-time customer updates, by utilising the Anypoint Platform. This reduced their average lead-to-contract time from one week to less than 15 minutes.

    Accelerating Payments

    Sunnova’s finance team utilises MuleSoft RPA to speed up payment processing for clients, making solar energy more accessible to homes.

    Automating Routine Tasks

    With Salesforce automation, Sunnova can automatically register systems for state and municipal incentives and snapshot energy output, cutting the time spent on manual chores by roughly four hours each day.

    Powering the Future with AI

    Sunnova can simply track the performance of its hardware and automatically produce a work order in Service Cloud since it can readily view data from third-party systems such as grid services and solar metre suppliers. Service agents may then address situations more quickly by utilising Einstein for Service’s predictive AI, which advises the best preventative maintenance for each household.

    Accelerating Solar Installation and Inventory Management

    Sunnova intends to increase the scope of its use of MuleSoft automation by giving installers the ability to quickly and easily read and classify hardware barcodes on installed solar panels in order to automatically identify the parts, classify and update the business’s inventory system, and create a new installation record with all necessary details. With around 500 installations each day, the firm would save time if each barcode installation took just a few minutes less time.
