Salesforce announced the general availability of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Code Builder. It leverages trusted generative AI to help developers decrease expenses and speed up software development cycles.

    Why it is important?

Businesses are rushing to develop software that will power their business apps, but 80% of IT leaders report that integration issues are hampering their digital transformation. Furthermore, 86% of IT leaders believe that generative AI will soon play a significant role in their organizations.

    What is Anypoint Code Builder?

Anypoint Code Builder is an integrated development environment (IDE) that allows developers to create APIs and integrations with modern tooling using Visual Studio Code, generate code using natural language prompts, and access a variety of deployment environment options for desktop and cloud IDEs.

Features of Anypoint Code Builder Features

    Use AI to accelerate development

Einstein for Anypoint Code Builder (which is now in beta) enables developers to produce code and integration flows — visual representations of the code and business logic required to integrate systems and applications — using generative AI and natural language prompts.

    Build faster with next-generation tool

Developers can access to a huge ecosystem of extensions that enable interoperability across various technology stacks and ecosystems.

Maintain agility with flexible development environments

Anypoint Code Builder provides versatility through a number of development environments, including a desktop IDE that can be installed locally within the popular Visual Studio Code and a cloud IDE that can be accessed via any web browser.

Increase the speed of industry-specific integration

Companies can accelerate industry-specific integration by leveraging provided solutions that streamline important business efforts, accelerate implementations, and assist businesses in adhering to industry best practices. Few examples for integrations

Healthcare: Organisations can improve patient care coordination by streamlining patient data integration across diverse electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
Financial Services: Firms can help financial institutions and fintech partners share secure and compliant data, accelerating the creation of innovative financial products and services.
Retail: By integrating ecommerce platforms with inventory management systems, businesses can improve order fulfilment efficiency and inventory accuracy.

    Benefit for Customer

MuleSoft’s Anypoint Code Builder is the ultimate coding buddy because of its easy association with multiple programming languages, the huge library of extensions, and the customizable UI. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned MuleSoft developer, Anypoint Code Builder enables you to write code quickly and elegantly.
