    SugarCRM Releases Generative AI Capabilities for Midmarket CRM

    SugarCRM has introduced generative AI capabilities to help midmarket customers improve their CRM platforms. These new features are intended to boost sales, marketing, and service teams’ productivity. Indeed, SugarCRM promises that by incorporating generative AI into its platform, it will make “the hard things easier” for users. This includes automating time-consuming, repetitive operations, allowing workers to focus on more complicated tasks.

    SugarCRM unveiled the following innovations during its 2023 Industry Analyst Summit.

    Generative AI for Customer Service 

    Generative AI models analyse interactions for context, develop logical and contextually relevant responses, and more effectively handle customer questions and scenarios. They are capable of handling complicated customer queries, including nuanced intent, sentiment, and context, and providing relevant responses.

    Generative AI for Marketing

    Generative AI has emerged as a game changer in content generation, providing marketers with a variety of strong tools for driving engagement and delivering intuitive campaigns.

    Generative AI for Sales

    Generative AI tools can connect to and transcribe sales calls, and then generate notes and action steps. It can create personalized emails and sales copy, data-driven call scripts, and sales proposals that include real-time customer intelligence.

    Craig Charlton, CEO of SugarCRM, said: “Most businesses are looking to AI to transform experiences and drive greater productivity. Today’s generative AI announcement is the latest evidence of our commitment to making AI accessible to all and to maximize usability for a next-level CRM user experience.”

    SugarCRM’s generative AI enables enterprises to derive benefits from these diverse capabilities while also providing administrators with a responsible usage toolkit that they can use to audit, control, and filter the data delivered to huge language models. It protects company data and intellectual property in accordance with best practices.

    The new generative AI capabilities are currently available to customers taking part in a closed pilot program. This programme is available to thousands of businesses in over 120 countries that use SugarCRM’s platform. By participating in the programme, these companies may be able to jumpstart their generative AI journeys, since the technology promises to turn the customer experience area upside down.

    According to a recent McKinsey Digital research, nearly 52 percent of generative AI value is applied to customer operations, marketing, and sales. It also stated that generative AI might transform the way firms use CRM by automating tasks that can take up to 70% of an employee’s time.
